Farmer's portal (CZ)

The Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic's farmer portal is a central tool for every farmer, enabling digital management of their own data and access to registers relating exclusively to their business – for example, land records, livestock, or submitted subsidy applications. The advantage is the complete elimination of paperwork and the ability to handle everything online without the need for personal visits to government offices.

What exactly does the Farmer's Portal offer?

The Farmer's Portal is a web platform that provides access to all records, registrations, and applications maintained by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic and its subordinate organizations, in particular the State Agricultural Intervention Fund (SZIF), the Central Institute for Supervising and Testing in Agriculture (ÚKZÚZ), and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic (MZe ČR). By logging in via e-identity (e.g., Citizen Identity, MojeID, or data box), you have online access to your data and communication with the state administration.

Specifically, you can use the Farmer's Portal to:

  • Submitting electronic applications – whether for direct payments, ANC, ecology, changes to the animal register, or updating data in the LPIS. Electronic applications simplify the entire process and allow you to track their status in real time.
  • Access to land blocks in LPIS – view the history, crop, area, and boundaries of individual blocks.
  • Records of fertilization and plant protection – you fulfill your obligations under the Nitrates Directive and have all applications documented. This is crucial for inspections and for optimizing inputs.
  • Displaying map data – you can use cadastral maps, orthophoto maps, or BPEJ layers. This information will help you better plan your investments and work in the field.
  • Overview of announcements and calls – The portal will notify you of important changes in subsidy rules, upcoming deadlines, or calls for review. You will never overlook anything important.
  • Farmer registration and data changes – you can easily update information about your business premises, responsible persons, or changes to your entity. Everything is done in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic without the need to visit the authorities.

This centralization means that you no longer have to laboriously visit various offices or manually track different reports.

How to get started – farmer registration and login

In order to make full use of the Farmer's Portal, you must first register as an entity listed in the Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic's records. The process itself is not complicated, but it is worth knowing the exact procedure so that you don't waste any time.

You can register as a farmer either:

  • in person at the SZIF registry office, or
  • electronically via data box

To register, you need:

  • Company ID numberunder which you operate (note: you must be registered directly as an agricultural entrepreneur pursuant to Section 2e of Act No. 252/1997 Coll., on agriculture – i.e., you must be officially registered in the Register of Agricultural Entrepreneurs (RZP), not just list "agricultural activity" as a free trade on a standard trade license)
  • Applicant identification details (e.g., yours or your legal representative's)
  • Signed registration application – electronically (signed with a qualified signature) or physically with a handwritten signature

Once your application has been processed, you will be granted access to the Farmer Portal system. You can then activate your account either:

  • through the SZIF certificate, or
  • via Citizen Identity (e.g., banking identity)

We recommend that you register in good time – without it, you will not have access to grant applications , and some attractive grant programs tend to close almost immediately due to high demand.

How does the electronic grant application work?

You can submit your subsidy application via the Farmer's Portal easily, quickly, and without having to print a single piece of paper. You can fill everything out manually directly in the portal interface.

Electronic filing has several advantages:

  • The system will notify you of errors or missing data. – This eliminates the risk of your application being rejected due to formal deficiencies.

  • Track the status of your application online – you can see whether the request has been registered, is being reviewed, or has already been approved.

  • Quickly edit or add to documents – For example, when asked to make a correction, you can respond immediately without delay.

From the perspective of cash flow and operating expense planning, digital application submission is practically a necessity today.

What does the portal offer you when connected to farm management software?

The farmer portal is not just about administration – when combined with tools such as Agdata, it becomes an important source of data for agronomic decisions. Thanks to its connection to LPIS, historical data, and remote sensing, you gain access to information that you can immediately use for better decision-making or even precise input management.

For example:

  • Variable nitrogen doses – If you monitor yield maps and the NDVI and EVI indices of the current crop, you can easily identify areas with lower yield potential. There, you can reduce the dose by 20%, for example, saving fertilizer and avoiding overloading the soil with excess nitrogen.

  • Sowing hybrids according to soil quality – LPIS data (including BPEJ) makes it easy to see where there may be potential set more profitable hybrids, and where, on the contrary, to save on seeds. If you add to this the experience from your own yield data and data managed about soil composition and local climatic conditions In Agdata, you can create a crop plan that will bring you a better return on your investment.

  • Evaluation of application effectiveness – By linking application maps with yield data, you can see where higher fertilizer doses or more intensive technology really paid off. This allows you to optimize your strategy for the next season.

The farmer portal provides you with input information, and Agdata turns it into a decision-making tool. The result is lower fertilizer and seed consumption, higher yield efficiency, and better cost control—every season.

What can you do through the Farmer Portal?

  1. Proposal to change the boundary of a land block in LPIS – you can edit the drawings in a matter of minutes using iLPIS tools such as "Drawing," "Strip along the boundary," or "Tractor." The notification itself is handled electronically – the system generates a PDF, which you send to the PF SZIF. However, the change requires approval by OPŽL (SZIF/ÚKZÚZ) staff, which may take some time (the usual deadline is 15 days from submission).
  2. Submitting a fertilization plan for review – A time- and administration-efficient way to send your fertilization plan to the authorities electronically to the authorities electronically – for example, via a data box or the Farmer's Portal. This plan must comply with applicable legislation, e.g., the Fertilizer Act No. 156/1998 Coll. and Decree No. 262/2012 Coll., which specifies the requirements for record keeping. The legislation also requires that the documentation be ready for submission during an inspection.
  3. Overview of subsidy utilization over the last 5 years – The farmer's portal provides a complete overview of all grant applications, decisions, and payments for the last five years, including related records.
    • Via the "My requests" interface, you can see a chronological overview of individual calls, scoring, decisions, and amounts paid.
    • Data can be exported and used to analyze usage trends, which is useful when planning future investments and budget strategies.
  4. Records of POR application according to the Nitrates Directive – The portal allows you to keep track of electronic records of the use of plant protection products (PPPs), especially through the EPH module. It will enable you to:
    • Record all applications – date, dose, crop, plot.
    • Comply with obligations under the Nitrates Directive in sensitive areas – you will take over the records from the LPIS, and the system will notify you of deadlines and doses.
    • During inspections, you can simply export PDF records that are required by law under the Plant Protection Act.
