When to sug, when to harvest and when to fertilize? Is the old tractor still needed, or would it be better to buy a new one? This will now be advised by the modern farm management system developed by Agdata of Přibyslav. At present, it is the only system of its kind in the Czech Republic, they are also interested in it abroad.
Lukáš Musil, his brother Jiří and friend Jiří Večeřa come from farmers' families, so they know the problems that farmers face well.
"This system is based on data collection to help farmers manage efficiently," Lukáš Musil from Přibyslav explained on the agdata company. As he pointed out, this system is intended to make life easier for farmers and allow them to be more in the field and in the field than over administration.
"Our system will make it easier for farmers to keep records, warehouse farms and secure agricultural machinery with GPS. The system will even know how powerful each machine is, if it would be better for farmers to buy a new one. The system will also know how fertile which field is, how sloping, if the crop that the farmer grows pays off at all," Lukáš Musil calculated only part of the advantages of the new system. According to him, no complex technology is needed for a farmer to buy a system, just internet access and a smartphone. The installation on the relevant farm will be carried out by Agdata within a fortnight.
According to Lukáš Musil, Agdata's clients are farmers and owners of farms, as well as agricultural joint stock companies or cooperatives. "To buy our equipment, the farmer definitely does not have to go into debt. Individual systems can be bought at a cost of several thousand crowns, but the savings that our equipment can bring to farmers are many times higher," lukáš Musil stressed.
Farmers will also be helped by the meteostanice
One of agdata's technical innovations is portable meteostanice. In the past, the farmer went out into the field, looked up at the sky, estimated the weather, or kept a special calendar at home mapping the weather months after month several years ago. Because the weather is currently changing from day to day, and the heat alternates with clouds, today, according to Musil, farmers will serve a complete weather service that will detect rainfall totals, temperature, humidity, pressure, direction and wind speed.
It's developing even more sensors. For example, sensors monitoring grain moisture at four different depths, leaf moistening sensors or examining soil moisture, and so on.
"The Agdata.cz system also allows to predict the occurrence of possible diseases in the fields based on data from the survey," lukáš Musil described another technical convenience that a farmer can significantly facilitate his life. As he pointed out, Agdata manages, backs up, encrypts and guarantees the protection of information and data.
The founders of Agdata are Lukáš Musil, his brother Jiří and his friend Jiří Večeřa. They all come from farmers' families, so they know the problems that farmers face well. All three are from the Highlands. "Agdata came out of my idea. I am an accredited advisor to the Ministry of Agriculture and in this work I found out how much some data is missing from farmers and how it could make their lives easier," said Lukáš Musil.
Agdata started to be established in 2017 and is gradually developing together with the advent of new technologies. As Lukáš Musil added, Agdata has managed to find an investor who helps to develop the product further. So now the Musil brothers can offer this modern farming technology not only at home, but also successfully abroad.
