The September updates bring in particular the following:

  • new overview of machines with map, log book and telematics

  • perimeter protection zones

  • scope of work according to GPS recording

  • better display of entering activities on wider displays

New machines

The machine page has been significantly improved. You can now view an overview of rides for each machine and basic telematics data for individual trips next to the route. The width of aggregation can now also be adjusted for each machine. If you set the aggregation width for an activity to a non-zero value, the work range is calculated and set automatically when it ends. Also new is the possibility of exporting a logbook in xls format. We continue to work on the page, so you can look forward to more news in the following updates.

Perimeter protection zones

In the protection zones of parcels, it is now possible to define a perimeter protection zone in addition to the line protection zone. All protection bands can then be subtracted from the range directly when entering an activity simply by selecting a specific one, so it is not necessary to switch to modifying them for the scope. If you need to edit the protection bands when you create an activity, their editor opens in the next window, and you can see the newly added or modified changes immediately in the activity form.

We have refined the calculation of the area earned

Many of you lacked a more accurate calculation of the scope of field work according to gps records in Agdata. We have now adjusted the calculation to include only the area of the parcel without overlaps. The calculated area is now also displayed on the map in the activity record and is continuously updated according to the progress of the work. Agdata GPS in the current version does not have information from the tractor hydraulics, so it is necessary to take into account that they continue to be part of the range in a conversation.

In addition to these innovations, some other parts of the Agdata platform have undergone minor changes, the detail of the activity is now better adapted to wide screens, we have also increased the number of servers.

We wish you a good run of autumn work and thank you for your support.
