Voluntary production-linked support (VCS) is aimed at sensitive sectors facing difficulties, but at the same time they are very important for economic, social or other reasons. This also includes breeding a meat-type calf. The measure to support breeders applies to meat calves born on the applicant's holding between 1 April 2015 and 31 March 2016.

The rate for 2016 is CZK 9,312.99 / VDJ (subsidy paid this year, i.e. 2017).

Last year, the applicant had to apply for payment for a minimum of 1 calf (0.4 VDJ, tick in the application and fill in the Declaration).

The mother of a calf for which an application for payment for special aid for a meat calf is submitted must be a cow being left in a suckled system. At the same time, the father of the calf must be a bull of the meat breed of cattle registered in the central register of breeds.
